technical assistance support is available from Development Services Group, Inc.
(DSG). DSG manages the JAIBG National
Training & Technical Assistance Alliance and can provide or arrange linkages
for several types of technical support. Technical assistance Technical
assistance (TA) is a process of providing help to resolve issues the implementation
of an accountability-based sanctions system. This assistance may be provided to
Federal, State, and units of local governments, law enforcement, the judiciary,
corrections personnel, and other community agencies are responsible for juvenile
justice. The purpose of the TA may include any of the following: (1) to identify
a problem; (2) to address a problem that is already identified; (3) to provide
an objective evaluation of a problem; (4) to develop/introduce a new program;
(5) to address a sensitive issue that needs an impartial outside perspective;
or (6) to aid in examining the effects of a new statute, policy, or procedure.
